Fear of failure can be debilitating so we absolutely need to work on re-framing failure ALL the time.
Can you accept that it's a good thing?
Even a GREAT thing?
It means you're doing something and, every successful woman only got successful by actually DOING something.
Not thinking about it.
Not talking about it.
Not wondering about it.
ACTUALLY risking it and DOING something.
You need to be in action to learn, fail, pivot, learn, fail, try again and keep the momentum up until you reach the destination you are headed for.
It is the ONLY way.
(Read that again...)
It is the ONLY way.
So, if you're not failing... you're not trying hard enough.

One of the BEST parts of my job is working with women one-on-one and literally hunting down the limiting beliefs they have.
I listen to what they say about themselves, their life and their beliefs and bam... there it is... that terrible limiting belief that is holding them back.
I am on a serious 'search and destroy' mission!
It is SO important to regularly get someone to help you SEE the self-imposed limits you have, because this is the ONLY way to change them.
You cannot change what you can't see.
AND... it is SO important to change them because you will usually create your life WITHIN your own expectations. In other words, if you believe it will turn out a certain way, then it very often does.
At least give yourself half a chance to create the best life possible by finding the beliefs that are holding you back, and giving them a right-royal shake up!
Or... come and do some sessions with me and we'll blast them to smithereens together.

I was running a workshop the other day, and a woman asked whether she needed to forgive herself to be able to increase her confidence.
My answer was... 'Absolutely!'
I have been in the confidence game for a long time now and I have NEVER experienced anyone increasing their confidence, from judgement and criticism. Not one, tiny bit!
You see, increasing your confidence just doesn't work like this so, isn't it interesting that we fall into this trap so quickly and easily? You'd think we would eventually learn to never do that to ourselves... but we don't.
You are NOT going to get a breakthrough in your life, your behaviour or your confidence by subjecting yourself to more judgement and criticism.
Instead, you need to feel proud.
You need to get wins on the board.
You need to see yourself moving in a positive direction because of the choices you make.
Yes, you need to get through the tough times, the mistakes and the times you monumentally stuffed it up... but the best practice... less

No one has the power to make you feel inferior without your consent...
however, it is tough to keep up the shield of protection all the time.
What is easier, is to NOT need the shield in the first place because the
people who are around you don't make you feel that way in the first
place.
WHENEVER you feel inferior, check in on who you have allowed to be
around you (whether in person on through social media) and remove them
immediately!
You do NOT deserve to feel inferior at any point in your life so, if you
do, a change needs to be urgently made.
Life really is SO wonderful when you are empowered and feeling great so
work to ensure that is how you feel most of the time.

I get asked quite often whether we have programs for teenage girls -
we're working on it... - and recently, this has been asked by a woman
in one of the workshops I have been running who has a teenage daughter
that is struggling with her confidence.
I always reply that the best way for their daughters to increase their
confidence is to see their mothers increasing THEIR confidence.
She is going to learn from you.
She is going to see the techniques you use.
She is going to understand how confident women behave and what they will
or will not accept.
We are always talking about the importance of having great role models
and mothers are the first, most significant role models a teenage girl
will have. This experience sets the foundation that she builds her life
on, so it's SO VITAL that YOU are being the woman that you want your
daughter to be.
This will be the most important lesson she learns.

Creating a positive mindset is your ONLY full time job!
How are you performing at this job so far? 🤔
Are you good enough to deserve a promotion or are you needing to be performance managed?
A positive mindset is the ONLY thing that gives you a great life so therefore, it's the thing that is most important to focus on.
And, it's tough... I get it!
Our primitive brain REALLY, REALLY wants to focus on all the negative, scary stuff because its sole function is to keep you safe.
SO... it takes a conscious effort to continually have a positive mindset.
It takes work... hard work... BUT this is the most important full-time job you need to work at, to make the biggest impact on your life.

You can't build your confidence while you are safe and secure, tucked up inside your comfort zone.
It just doesn't work like that, I'm afraid.
Confidence is built on the edge of your comfort zone.
While you are out there pushing the boundaries of what you are comfortable with, facing fear and doing it anyway.
Only THEN, are you really living!
Only THEN, are you really expanding!
Only THEN, are you proud of yourself and start to know yourself as someone who can push through the dis-comfort zone and live the life they want.
It's at that moment when your confidence starts to soar.
You can see yourself achieving and you start to believe that you are capable of more... so much more.

Staying silent diminishes your confidence.
You stay quiet for whatever reason...
- fear of getting something wrong...
- fear of what people might think...
- fear that you don't know enough...
- fear that nobody wants to hear what you have to say...
BUT then, you stay quiet so many times that you start to believe that this is the truth.
These reasons are NOT the truth!
To be a confident woman, you MUST speak up and, the great news is, that the more you practice speaking up, the easier it gets.
Yup... it's a skill... and, like any skill, to get better at it you must practice it until you have it mastered.
THIS is when your confidence increases and this is when you really know yourself as someone whose voice matters.
Your opinions matter!
What you think matters!
Your input matters!
So... come on girlfriend... SPEAK UP and be the confident, incredible woman you were born to be.
